Phoster Industries Completes LED Lighting Retrofit at Place Ville Marie, Montreal
The company retrofitted all 436 350-500 W incandescent light fixtures found in the lobby with 436 52 W PAR 64 LED lighting retrofit kits. Phoster Industries partnered with Hydro-Quebec, the government owned utility; Axxima, the maintenance management and energy company; and the SITQ (Société Immobilière Trans-Quebéc), to complete the project. The company’s LED retrofit solution generated 1.5 million kW of annual savings.
The LED retrofit offered energy savings of 90% and eliminated the issues associated with maintenance of lights. It operates at 75°C compared to the incandescent lights that operate at 270°C, thereby minimizing the HVAC usage and producing large costs savings of electricity.Phoster Industries Completes LED Lighting Retrofit
